Edward R. Harmon Edward Ray Harmon, 76, of Walker Road in Thomasville, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, in the Britthaven of Davidson Nursing Center. Born March 4, 1931, in Davidson County, he was a retired employee of Thomasville Furniture Industries. Long Sr., 85, of Lamb Road, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, in Forsyth Medical Center after a short illness. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Tyro United Methodist Church. Moore Bobbie Lee Moore, 75, of Britthaven of Davidson, formerly of Noahtown Road in Thomasville, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at Thomasville Medical Center. Born June 23, 1932, in Mercer County, W. Va., he was a retired employee of Norling Studios and he served his country in the U.S. Marines, a veteran of the Korean War. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Chipps officiating. Burial will follow at a later date. Bessie Wagner Mrs. Bessie Elizabeth Freedle Wagner, age 92, of 213 Park Ave. in Thomasville, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, in Randolph Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Feb. 8, 1915, in Davidson County, N.C. daughter of John Freedle and Carrina Sowers Freedle. She was a retired employee of Freemont Hosiery Mill and was a member of Rich Fork Baptist Church. She was married to Jacob Mc Daniel Wagner who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Norma Jean Cannon Leonard and Jackline Porter and one son, Donald Elwood Wagner. Surviving is one son, Billy Joe Wagner of Thomasville; one sister, Lillian Cody of Washington State; one brother, Robert Freedle of Thomasville; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in J. C. Green & Sons Chapel in Thomasville with the Rev. Donald Wagner officiating. The interment will be in Rich Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. today and other times at the home of the son, Billy Joe Wagner, 101 Ford St., Thomasville, N.C. 27360. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Freedom Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery with military graveside rites by Randolph County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at their home.
